About Me
I have been in the fitness industry for 20 years starting out as Group Fitness instructor. I moved to Australia 8 years ago. In this time I have managed 8 different Clubs and now have had the honour of opening World Gym Stafford.
Coming from a musical theatre background and having danced and performed in multiple productions over the years. I enjoy strength training here at World Gym Stafford and also teaching Group Fitness. Working here is fun, full of energy and I am thrilled to be surrounded by our members who are wanting to improve themselves every time they show up to train

About Me
Fully qualified since mid 2019, I am a 20 yr old PT who has been in the gym consistently for the past 6+ years of my life. I enjoy many different avenues of fitness, ranging from Boxing and Kickboxing, to powerlifting and strength coaching. For 23 years I have worked as a personal trainer. I started my career at Les Mills in Auckland and moved to Australia in 2004 where I have continued my passion in health and fitness. I have been privileged enough to work with many clients, some of which have remained as clients for the last 15 years. I have competed in natural bodybuilding in NZ and Australia where I have both won or consistently placed in the top 3.

I come from an athletic background being a competitive 100m sprinter which introduced me to explosive plyometric training. I then moved into powerlifting and continued to cross over into bodybuilding.

Donald Massage Therapist

Donald has been a remedial therapist since 2019. He graduated from Qacademy with a diploma of remedial therapy, completing the course successfully and even adding in some extra modules including; strength and conditioning, nutritional advice and special orthopaedic testing. Donald has been an athlete since the age of 14. Playing in state hockey teams, Aussie rules footy, MMA, boxing, ju-jitsu, cross country running and has always used gym to enhance his sporting lifestyle. Donald spent 4 years in the Royal Australian Regiment as a rifleman in which he really pushed his limits of the body and successfully completed his 4 years without any major injuries and never missing a day of work. After leaving the Army he became a tradie for labour hire, during this time he started strongman competitions at the gym in which he positioned 1st in Brisbane’s strongest man 2018 and 3rd strongest in Australia in 2019, both in the under 90kg category. Donald then started studying remedial massage with all of his experience and became a very competent manual therapist with his wealth of experience and knowledge of the biopsychosocial perspective of healthcare and athletic performance. Donald has also completed Ka Huna level 4 body work, giving him a unique technical skillset when approaching the body. He has a deep understanding of the nervous system and how the mind and body communicate with each other and how to develop better control over both of them. Overall Donald has a deep knowledge of the wisdom of the body and through his own experience and with the feedback from his clients, knows how to wholistically, systematically and passionately provide the most optimal outcome for his clients.
